The students of Std XI Commerce and Science were treated to a Pot-Pourri (mixed bag) of quizzing on Saturday, December 12, 2009.
The 1st round was purely ‘academics’, where questions related to academics were asked.
The 2nd round was ‘zara haat ke’, which was divided into three sub-rounds. The first being solving the puzzles, the second was dumb-sharads and the third was a buzzer round where the four teams Agni, Bhoomi, Jal and Vaayu had to recognize the partially covered pictures of advertisements, politicians, singers, historical monuments etc. The 3rd round tested the students power to observe and remember things. A tray with 30 articles were passed around the contestants. They were then given 30 seconds to list out the articles in the tray. At the end there was a tie between Vaayu and Agni house. The tie breaker question was asked by a XII std student Vaibhav Patel and the ‘Vaayu’ House was the winner of the contest. The name of the winners are Jay Patel, Bharat Ambati, Vishal Chitlangya, Vishwa Shah . The winners were awarded certificates.

It was a nice quiz contest.The questions being asked were really interesting and each round brought a new excitement.The audience too cheered their respective fellow house group participants and they also actively took part in the quiz.The whole quiz contest was set up by Shyam sir and teachers of 11th,12th(Sci.,Comm.)The quiz brusshed up everybody's minds.
