INTERACTION BETWEEN CONSUMER & TELECOM SERVICE PROVIDERS

Venue : Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industries

An Interactive session was held at Gujarat Chamber of Commerce & Industry, between Consumers & Telecom service providers. The Seminar was organized by Mrs. Ramaben Mavani, ex.M.P and Mr. Mahendra Patel President of GCCI. Representatives of Idea cellular, Airtel, BSNL, Aircel, Uninor, Vodafone , Dish T.V. were present and solved queries and complaints of consumers. The seminar provided a stage for quick disposal of consumers’ complaints. Hon’ble Rtd. Justice of Supreme Court Mr. C. K. Thakker inaugurated the seminar and appreciated the development of telecommunication in India. He imparted knowledge of law and Constitution’s Article 21 to the audience. Shri. Muktak Kapadia, Managing Trustee of Kapadia Group of Schools gave a powerful speech and expressed his frank views on the subject which has assumed a big dimension. The audience included consumers and students who actively participated by asking questions. The seminar proved to be a source of knowledge for all present.

CONGRATULATIONS !!!


The H. B Kapadia group of Schools won the Hiramani Cup organised by GCA on 24-12-2011 by defeating D. P. S in the finals. They won the match by 4 wickets. D.P.S won the toss and elected to bat. Their score was 213 all out in 49.3 overs. In answer to this H. B. K. students scored 214 for 6 in 48.3 overs, thus winning the match by 4 wickets. The main scorers were Shah Varun - 49 runs, Manyar Preet - 44 runs and Pancholi Parth (Captain) -22 runs. Brambhatt Hem and Rahul both took 3 wickets. Earlier, the same team had won the semi-finals against Mangal Deep School by 109 runs. Hansari Sameer, a promising all -rounder and an important player in this team scored 45 runs and took 2 wickets in this match.
