The students of H.B.K, Secondary English Medium had the joy of teaching municipal school children on Teachers’ Day. It was a beautiful give and take process of knowledge and information between the children of both the schools. Our students taught various subjects like Math, Science, English, G.K. and also played games. H.B.K. has always supported the initiatives taken by NGO, YUVA in all its projects, celebrating teachers’ day with municipal school children being one of them.

Horlicks Wiz Kids

HORLICKS WIZ KIDS

INTERSCHOOL COMPETITION

The Horlicks Wiz Kids Inter-School Competition was held on 23^rd August, 2011 at Tagore Hall, Paladi. The number of schools participating were more than 25 and the total number of students was more than 1500. The main aim of the competition was to bring out the “Taller Stronger & Sharper Kids” from all the participants. There were number of competitions held at the venue. Our students won maximum number of trophies and prizes. The first trophy H.B.K won was the ‘The Taller Stronger and Sharper Kids’. It was a proud moment for all. The proudest moment for H.B.K. was when the students and the school was awarded for ‘The Best Teacher Co-ordinator Award’ to Miss Beena Vyas who proved her mettle by making the students excel in their performance. The most coveted award was ‘The Best Dressed School Award’. H.B.K. got the first prize for this prestigious award. A beautiful huge trophy was awarded to our students for their outstanding and smart livery.

RAKHSHABANDHAN CELEBRATIONS

The students of H.B.Kapadia New High School, Memnagar (High school-English medium), this year celebrated Rakshabandhan with the children of Prakash School-for special children. The celebrations started a few days ago when the students made rakhis in the school and the best were judged by the teachers, the students then visited Prakash School and tied these rakhis to the special children and also distributed sweets among them. To add to the celebrations a mammoth rakhi was prepared by the students conveying the message of peace and love and is displayed in the school premises.

SCIENCE EXHIBITION

The students of H.B.Kapadia New High School, Memnagar, (High School-English Medium), enthuciastically participated in a Science Exhibition on 8^th August. The students demonstrated their innovative concepts with the help of working models based on scientific principles. The models on display were the Solar Heater, Drip Irrigation Method, Remote Sensing, Lemon Battery, Mind Clock to name a few.

The Exhibition gave the students a platform to showcase their talent, which was greatly appreciated by the Managing Trustee. Shri Muktak Kapadia and all present.
