RAKHSHABANDHAN CELEBRATIONS



The students of H.B.Kapadia New High School, Memnagar (High school-English medium), this year celebrated Rakshabandhan with the children of Prakash School-for special children. The celebrations started a few days ago when the students made rakhis in the school and the best were judged by the teachers, the students then visited Prakash School and tied these rakhis to the special children and also distributed sweets among them. To add to the celebrations a mammoth rakhi was prepared by the students conveying the message of peace and love and is displayed in the school premises.
















SCIENCE EXHIBITION




The students of H.B.Kapadia New High School, Memnagar, (High School-English Medium), enthuciastically participated in a Science Exhibition on 8th August. The students demonstrated their innovative concepts with the help of working models based on scientific principles. The models on display were the Solar Heater, Drip Irrigation Method, Remote Sensing, Lemon Battery, Mind Clock to name a few.

The Exhibition gave the students a platform to showcase their talent, which was greatly appreciated by the Managing Trustee. Shri Muktak Kapadia and all present.

ELECTIONS 2011-12

































HBK School held its yearly elections for head boy, head girl and captains for the four houses on July 21, 2011. The election procedure in the school is almost identical to the Assembly elections, giving students a chance to learn about the real process. A panel of candidates is selected by the teachers from std XI. After a few days of canvassing by the candidates, the students cast their votes in a ballot box to choose their leaders. Shikha Bhatia and Meet Patel got the maximum number of votes and took oath as head girl and head boy respectively followed by captains of the four houses Shruti Dhawan(Agni), Aishwarya Iyer(Bhoomi), Kunal Shah(Jal) and Jay Patel(Vaayu). The Principal Mrs. Indrani Banerjee congratulated all the winners.
