Pasi Ki Masti

H. B. K again embarks on a “Kindness Mission

H.B.K. as always is participating whole heartedly in a mission to collect maximum pasti to help their under privileged peers. This drive will culminate in a near by municipal school making a valuable contribution to a slum child’s education along with teaching children to make ‘best from waste’. H. B. K’s all 4 branches have adopted one municipal school each. H. B. K. feels that the act of kindness will bring teens from opposite spectrum of society on one platform. What ensues will be an year–long festival where students from classes VIII to XII will be continuously interacting with the underprivileged kids of the municipal school learning in the process,
‘ to share and care’. This will help in eventually moulding their character thus imbibing in them a positive energy and the seeds of moral values. H.B.K’ites with their zeal for the noble cause, initiated by school unstoppable have collected tons of pasti. The money in return will be used for the cause of the municipal school which they have adopted.

H.B.K’s Science Day Celebration………

H.B.K’s Science Day Celebration………

On 2nd March a ‘Cancer Awareness Day’ was held at H.B.K. Memnagar along with the support of Medisurge Hospital. An excellent, informative exhibition was held where there were a number of posters and charts which gave a detail insight on the causes, prevention and the types of the deadly cancer. The best part was H.B.K’ites were fortunate as amidst them Dr. Jagdish Kothari (GI & Hepatobiliary Surgical Oncologist) was there who himself gave to the students a power point presentation explaining the why’s and how’s of cancer; He also had a healthy interaction with the students. His message was loud and clear that “ Prevention is better than Cure & complete awareness of this disease can help us avoid it’’. The students of std 8th , 9th and 11th were made to realize that they can be the true ambassadors, who after acquiring so much of knowledge about cancer can in turn, be the torch bearers to the society at large. H.B.K’s managing trustee Shri Muktak N Kapadia applauded and promised his full support to this noble cause.
